In a world based around the idea of carbon based fuels being cheap and readily available we are suddenly facing up to the prospect of energy being very expensive and supplies running down as the demand increases.

You can hardly see a news bulletin these days that doesn’t mention climate change and the environment at some point. It is generally acceprted that climate change and environmental disaster is the biggest issue facing the world right now.

What can we do about it? If we take the view that it is a job for the governments of the world to sort out we could all be facing the end of the world as we know it before action is seen to be carried through. We all need to do our bit and it doesn’t have to mean living in a cave collecting berries to eat.
